BEST DRESSED…..

Barack and Michelle Obama are edging out Hollywood stars on Vanity Fair‘s International Best-Dressed List.

The president makes the list for the first time in issues out Wednesday, joining his wife, who has been named TWICE before.

No longer on the list is Angelina Jolie, although her husband Brad Pitt remains, based on a poll of fashion insiders. Other stars getting the honor are Penelope Cruz, Anne Hathaway, NBC correspondent Tiki Barber and James Bond star Daniel Craig.

The Obamas weren’t the only stylish political dressers named. French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy made the list along with New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his companion, Diana Taylor.

WOW!!!! I think this is the FIRST time ever that the PRES of the USA has been named BEST DRESSED… GOOOOO OBBAMMAAA!!!!! LOL

Honestly, I’m not really an expert on DORM ROOMS because I have never stayed on campus but I do know the things you will need in order to transform your bland little space into your own comfy domain so I’m offering my advice on how to make your dorm room FAB without going overboard. From bedding to computer desks…I have the scoop on where to find the most attractive things for your liking at an attractive price for your parents lol

Bedding 101

We all have our own style and taste so why not dress your COT up nicely with a great BEDDING SET that will not only compliment your room…but also your style. The first thing people notice when they walk into your room is the bed for some odd reason so make sure this is the most attractive piece of furniture you have NO MATTER WHAT!!!!

Lighting 102

Pulling an all nighter can be hard without the proper lighting. Small words get smaller and your head starts to hurt from squinting your eyes. Well those problems can be solved with a great yet fashionable lamp….

Computer Desks 103

Although most dorm rooms may come with a computer desk…some aren’t always as fortunate. Don’t worry, as much as you might think computer desks are probably expensive I have news for you THEY AREN’T!!! At your local retailer stores such as Walmart, desks such as this one will only run you prices as low as $37 dollars…thats a pair of jeans lol

Rugs 104

You might not think that having a rug is that important in a dorm room but YOU’RE WRONG!!! Floor decorations are just as important as any other pieces of furniture in your room…just make sure it matches with the color scheme your going for and it will stand out taking away from the sometimes not so flattering floorboards underneath…

Wall Decor 105

As teens we take so many pictures it’s crazy, also we love arts and music so why not dress your walls up with the things you love the most. Cute picture frames are always a great accessory for dressing up any room. Never get homesick because you’ll always have your friends and family looking over you….

Storage 106

Idk about you but I have way too much stuff to put in those drawers that they provide in your dorm room. Why not spice your living space up with some cute storage areas. Storage space is important if you want to keep not only a stylish pad but a CLEAN one too lol. Colorful boxes range in all different sizes and are great for loose papers, personal items, and some are even big enough to fit clothing items and believe me these are so inexpensive, you can even make your own with the right materials….

Ok, idk who put me on with the greatest textbook website but I just want to thank them dearly for doing so. CHEGG.COM is the best textbook website ever…RENT your books DO NOT BUY THEM unless your planning to keep them forever.

Not only can you get books way cheaper than at retail price but for every book you rent a TREE is planted in your honor!!!!

I know all school bookstores are gonna hate me for this but I was once a victim of BUYING PRICEY textbooks, freshman year I spent $630 dollars on like 6 books….this year I spent only $233.02 on 8 books from CHEGG.COM!!! These same books would have ran me $479 dollars at the CAU bookstore I mean idk about you but ummm that 200 dollars I saved can go to clothes so I’ll look cute and be prepared lol…..

This is how it works:

• Log onto Chegg.com
• Create an account
• Type in the books you will need by using either (keywords, title or ISBN number)
• Be amazed by how much money u save $$$$$
• You have a choice between priority shipping or standard shipping (FYI: choose priority its only a dollar more lol)
• Lastly pay and you’re all set (they will tell you the date that the books are due back…which means it must be postmarked by that day)
• They pay for you to send the books back (when it is time just log back onto your account and print the return label)
• Take it to a UPS store or drop box
• OH AND REMEMBER FOR EVERY BOOK YOU RENT YOU PLANT A TREE!!!!!!

I HAVE PLANTED 10 TREES so far lol…GO GREEN!!!!!
